Actress and comedian Mallika Dua, who is known for her appearance in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero and Indoo Ki Jawaani made a post on her Instagram, informing everyone that she has admitted her parents to a nearby hospital. The actress revealed it was only after the condition of her parents deteriorated that they took the decision of admitting them. Mallika’s parents Vinod Dua and Padmavati Dua recently tested positive for COVID-19. The actress had informed that they were under home quarantine.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Mallika shared the new health update. She wrote, “We are admitting both papa and mama to a nearby hospital. Mama’s oxygen is 90 and her cytokine storm is more severe than papa’s. Both are coughing a lot and sound feeble but are fighting it. They will fight it. They have to.” Mallika mentioned that both her parents were coughing a lot and sounded feeble. She said they will fight the virus. Apart from this, the Zero actress made another post talking about the COVID-19 crisis the country is facing. Speaking about the deaths due to the virus, recorded across the world, she wrote, “An entire generation of lovely, all heart people is getting wiped out, leaving this monster of a world to us. No one prepared us for this. We deserve better.” The actress added, “My heart goes out to everyone grieving, nursing, fearing and just surviving. This makes no fucking sense at all. Not like life and death ever did but this makes it look like cheap change. How dare this happen to us.”
