President Donald Trump has spoken with several leaders of nations in the Persian Gulf region one by one. He addressed ongoing disagreements between Qatar and some of its Arab neighbors.

The White House revealed that Trump has urged harmony and repeated the overall significance of discontinuing terrorist financing as well as discrediting extremist ideology.

President Trump spoke with King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar and Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi Sunday night.

Unanimity in the region

The White House says that Trump has underscored that unanimity in the region is very critical to accomplish to goals of Riyadh Summit including, but not limited to overpowering terrorism and promoting the regional stability

Many Arab nations these days have accused Qatar for supporting Muslim extremists among other things. Every resident in all these countries expects a lot about the most peaceful environment. They get ever-increasing requirements to protect themselves from ruins of war with neighboring countries. They require a powerful person or group to make Gulf States united within a short time and start a step against any violence.


Gulf Cooperation Council

President of the United States phoned Abu Dhabi leader and urged the Gulf unity.  He told the crown prince of Abu Dhabi about a united Gulf cooperation council is mandatory for enhancing the regional stability.  He discussed with other leaders about the significance of implementing the counterterrorism agreements including, but not limited to cut off financing of extremist groups anywhere in the world.
