Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu, takes to micro-blogging site Twitter, to express her opinion and call out the treatment meted out to Rhea Chakraborty and the prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput case Rhea Chakraborty.
In response to a tweet that showcased photos of media reports that had Rhea Chakraborty and her brother headlining the front pages, Taapsee wrote, “Every woman who is with a relatively more successful man is NOT a ‘gold digger’ and for the rest , truth and investigating agencies will do their job. One step at a time.”

She was apparently referring to Rhea being called a ‘gold digger’ and other derogatory remarks that were directed towards the accused on various social media platforms by Sushant Singh Rajput fans.
However, Taapsee didn’t stop at this. She also retweeted a few other news clippings, headlines of which spoke about how the Enforcement Directorate could not find any evidence against Rhea siphoning off Rs 15 crore from the late actor’s account — an allegation that was made against Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend.
Earlier, in response to actor Lakshmi Manchu’s tweet slamming the ‘media trial’ in the case, Taapsee had tweeted, “I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity.”
Earlier, the Taapsee shared a cryptic tweet in which she said that even she received the results along with 12th and 10th standard kids. Using #MaLifeMaRulesMaShitMaPot, the actress tweeted, “Maine suna class 12th n 10th ke result ke baad humaara result bhi aa gaya hai! Humaara grade system ab official hai ? Abhi tak toh number system pe value decide hoti thi na.”
