Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani recently opened up about Sushant and his situation during the past few months. Right from January when Sushant got emotional and asked Siddharth to come back, saying that he wanted to leave acting and start something new with him to the morning he died, Siddharth divulged all the details.
He shared the day when Sushant got to know about his ex-manager Disha Salian’s death. Sidharth shared that a particular headline disturbed him. He said that Sushant opened up his phone and saw the post online, where one of the portals, read as ‘Sushant Singh Rajput manager Disha Salian commits suicide.’ The news affected him a lot, he said. He questioned why was his name being used in these posts. “That night I have seen him the lowest. He was very low,” Sidharth said.
He was so upset why his name was being used again and again. Adding, that Disha was his manager only for a very short time, just a few weeks and therefore, he had met her only once in his life.
Recently, In an interview with Zoom TV, Sidharth said, “A few weeks back only, she was appointed as his manager and now when she does something like that, the news says Sushant’s manager commits suicide. He kept crying that day. His sister, Meetu Singh, was there that time and she took care of him. Fed him, gave him water. The day Rhea left, his sister Meetu came to stay with him. This incident had really affected him.”
Sidharth shared that he had never seen him cry like that. “He fainted also when his sister and I were in the same room with him. Dipesh [Sushant’s housekeeper] also was present in the house. They all saw how badly this affected him. He had communicated that to me and his sister. And he had communicated that even more to his sister because I was coming in and going out of the room. She was there for him and counselled him saying that this is not your fault and it was her own decision what she did.”
