When Shehnaaz took a part in Mujhse Shaadi Karoge, Sidharth made a special appearance on the show as a special guest. SidNaaz fans are waiting for their favourite couple to reunite on-screen. Rumour mills were buzzing that Shehnaaz Gill was being considered opposite Sidharth Shukla in Ekta Kapoor’s Broken But Beautiful 3. However, it turns out these were just speculations.
Ekta Kappor has been searching for a new pair for the third season. Since SidNaaz was a rage back then, a lot of fans requested Ekta to cast them together. However, a source close to the development of the same revealed that Shehnaaz does not fit the bill. “Makers are all set with the storyline for the new season. Looking at the popularity and demand, Sidharth Shukla was highly considered for the role and now he has been finalised for it. However, Shehnaaz has not fit the character they are looking for. Hence, they are trying to rope in a new face and who is younger to his age as per the script demand. Calls are being made to many actresses but no one has been locked until now,” a source told Spotboye.
That’s heartbreaking for all SidNaaz fans out there but worry not. There may be plenty of opportunities in store for them.
