Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who recently won his battle with cancer, has reached Hyderabad to shoot for his upcoming film, KGF: Chapter 2. KGF: Chapter 1, directed by Prashanth Neel, garnered worldwide recognition and made wonders at the box office. Following the success of it, the makers announced a sequel, which was supposed to release on October 23. However, the production got delayed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
According to the recent reports, Sanjay Dutt has reached Hyderabad yesterday (November 27) to resume the shoot of the film. The star had shot major portions of his before the lockdown. He will be shooting for crucial action sequences with Yash in a huge set erected at Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad. The makers have built an expensive set and it will be one of the highlights of the film.
Though Sanjay landed in Hyderabad yesterday, he will shoot for the film from Monday (November 30). Reports claim that it will be a 10-day schedule and the makers are planning to complete the film as soon as possible.
On October 16, Sanjay Dutt shared several pictures of himself in his new look and said that is gearing up to shoot for KGF Chapter 2. He was supposed to shoot for his portions in November. However, the actor went on a vacation with his family to Dubai after treatment.
As reported earlier, Sanjay will be seen playing the antagonist Adheera opposite Yash’s Rocky. On Sanjay Dutt’s 61st birthday, the makers of Kannada film KGF: Chapter 2 unveiled his look from the film.
In one his earlier interviews, Sanjay Dutt said, “Adheera’s character is very powerful. If you have seen Avengers, you would know Thanos. So Adheera is like him. He is a very dangerous character with a dangerous get-up. And that’s the zone I was looking for.”
