Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most perfect and finest actors of recent times. Ranbir has worked in Sanju released in June 2018. In a recent interview with journalist Rajeev Masand, Ranbir revealed that if he had offered the role of Iron Man, he would have made it an underdog character. The 38-year-old actor said, “Even if I got offered to play Iron Man I would make him an underdog, I think. That’s just something that comes naturally to me. I am a big fan of the ‘unexpected triumph’, I like the audience to relate to my characters and not… I want my characters to have a relatable quality and not an aspirational quality.”
Talking about his two upcoming films, Ranbir said, “Shamshera and Brahmastra are these large-scale, action, big-ticket movies, so there is a preconceived notion.” He added, “I’m already onto my next now. Of course, they’re very exciting films. I’ve given a lot to them.” Ranbir Kapoor confirmed his marriage with Alia Bhatt in 2021 and said, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is — from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially, we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day.”
On the work front Ranbir will be next seen in Brahmastra, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna Akkineni, with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.
