Telugu superstar Ram Charan’s better half, Upasana Kamineni, is much more than just a star wife. The 30-year-old is an entrepreneur by profession and is the Vice Chairman of Apollo Charity. Upasana is also the Chief Editor of a health magazine called B Positive and has several other philanthropic works under her name. Now, for those who don’t know, she celebrated her birthday yesterday i.e on July 20.
Upasana passed another glorious year of her life and made the day even more memorable by taking her love for animals to the next level. The birthday girl came forward and adopted an elephant from the Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad.
Yes, the star wife has promised to take care of an elephant named Rani for one year. The news came in light when one of the fan accounts on Twitter posted the picture of Upasana with the zoo officials.

In the picture, Upasana, dressed in a white shirt, jeans, and face covered with a mask, can be seen presenting a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the zoo official.
Because of the coronavirus lockdown, the Hyderabad-based zoo has suffered huge losses. So in order to help them, Upasana, who is also a philanthropist, came forward and will now bear all the expenses of the elephant for one year.
