The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate Middleton, congratulated new parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the birth of their baby girl. Harry and Meghan welcomed their second child, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, on June 4 (Friday). Kate and William shared the congratulatory message on their official social media handles.
KATE AND WILLIAM CONGRATULATE HARRY AND MEGHAN
Congratulating new parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrote on social media, “We are all delighted by the happy news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie (sic).” Along with the congratulatory note, they also shared a picture of the couple with their son Archie from the maternity shoot.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their second baby on Friday. “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family,” the couple’s note of thanks on their Archewell website read.
Harry and Meghan have named their daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen. Her middle name is a nod to her “beloved late grandmother”, the Princess of Wales Diana. Lili is Queen’s 11th great-grandchild and is eighth in line to the throne.
However, the couple is yet to release a picture of their newborn.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Charles and Camilla, tweeted after the birth of their granddaughter. “Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana. Wishing them all well at this special time (sic),” their congratulatory note read.
