In order to match the growing technology in the telecom sector, the Finnish telecomm gear manufacturer Nokia has recently expanded its own R&D center in the technology city of India Bengaluru. As per the data collected from the trusted resources, it is confirmed that the telecomm gear manufacturing giant Nokia is about to carry on its own research in the field of Cloud technology, Analyzing Big Data, VoLTE and so. More importantly, the officials of the Nokia confirmed that the newly expanded R&D development sector will mainly focus on developing next generation core along with the 5G capable equipments.
With the newly expanded R&D development center in the Bangalore, Nokia now has 4 R&D development centers all over the world. According to the data released by the officials of Nokia, so far the company has employed around 6000 engineers for all their 4 R&D centers all over the world, 2 in Europe and 1 in china. While inaugurating the new R&D center in Bangalore along with the Karnataka IT minister Priyank Kharge, the R&D center head Rupa Santosh has confirmed that the number of employers will get increase in the upcoming year 2018.
Nokia on 5G Mobile Network
To match the next telecommunication standard which is to be capable of handling high speed connection for performing voice, video and data transfers via faster bandwidth, the telecom products manufacturer Nokia is set to roll its new equipment’s by around 2020 for replacing its own 4G equipment’s by joining hands with the global service providers to deliver next generation latest technologies.
The newly expanded R&D center will be capable of working on the dedicated work like developing 5G/LoT to be placed in the upcoming new smart cities along with the applications like real-time city surveillance, smart parking, and also application which are useful for the public safety.
