In a recent development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and the alleged drug-nexus in Bollywood, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday sent summons to Deepika Padukone, Rakulpreet Singh, Simone Khambata, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Namrata Shirodkar, a total 8 people including Karishma Prakash and Shruti Modi.
This comes after PTI reports from earlier today that the probe agency might summon Deepika Padukone soon, if needed.
On Wednesday, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) also summoned television couple Abigail Pande and Sanam Johar. The couplereached the NCB office for interrogation. According to sources, Abigal and Sanam have also been named in the interrogation of Anuj Keshwani and Ankush Arenja during the NCB investigation. In this connection, the NCB team also raided two different targets today.
Meanwhile, as per ANI, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bollywood talent agency KWAN, Dhruv Chitgopekar, on Wednesday appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for questioning in connection with a drug case related to the death of Sushant.
The NCB, which is probing the drug case linked to Sushant`s death investigation, had summoned Chitgopekar, Head Talent Manager Jaya Saha and Karishma to join the ongoing investigation on Tuesday. Karishma handles Deepika Padukone’s account. The NCB has also summoned Shruti Modi, former business manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, to join the investigation as well. All four people have been asked to be present at the NCB office in Mumbai on Tuesday.
