Actress Mouni Roy who for a long time was in London during the COVID-19 lockdown was also shooting for an OTT film called London Confidential that is made for Zee5.
It was in an interview with Mid-Day, the actress opened up on how it was petrifying for the unit in the beginning and how they were getting tested for COVID-19 every week. She told the paper, “The first three days were unnerving. But it was reassuring to see the safety measures adopted by the unit. We had to undergo a COVID test every week,”
The TV actress, who was also a part of many successful films, recently took to her Instagram handle to announce her debut on the OTT platform.
In the same interview, she also spoke about how a lot of the pre-production and production happened virtually. Mouni has been quoted as saying, “From having narrations over Zoom calls to shooting in London, things fell in place. I want to do a few more OTT projects to truly become a part of this world, but shooting for this film has been a liberating experience. OTT projects offer more layered characters, which is wonderful for actors.”
In an earlier interaction with Indian Express Mouni who plays a spy in the web-film stated that the it is not about Coronavirus but it surely has the pandemic as the background in the film. She further added that the movie primarily focuses more on the officials being killed and how Uma (Mouni Roy) and Arjun (Purab Kohli) try to hunt for the traitor among them.
