On the auspious occasion Durga Ashtami mom-to-be Anushka Sharma is craving for Puri, Chane and Halwa. She took to Instagram and shared a picture with ‘Missing this today and how’. She followed this with a sad emoji. She is currently with her hubby Virat Kohli in the UAE.
Recently, Virat shared a picture with Anushka on Instagram clicked by his RCB teammate AB de Villiers. In the photo, the star couple can be seen taking a dip in the sea and gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes. The 31-year-old simply captioned the photo with the red heart icon and sunset icons.
Virat and Anushka had earlier announced that they are going to be parents and the baby is expected to arrive in January 2021. They both posted a picture in which we could see Anushka’s baby bump. She was seen wearing a black and white polka dot dress. ‘And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,’ read the caption.
In an interview to Vogue, Anushka spoke about their hectic work life. She said, “People assume when I’m visiting Virat or when he is visiting me that it’s a holiday, but it’s really not. One person is always working. In fact, during the first six months of our marriage, we spent 21 days together. Yes, I actually calculated. So when I visit him overseas, it’s to squeeze in that one meal together. It’s precious time for us.”
The actress recently shared some thoughts on upbringing and how parents should raise boys in a way that they respect girls. She wrote on Insta stories, “In our society, having a male child is seen as a ‘privilege’. Of course, it’s no more privilege than having a girl child but the fact is that this so-called privilege has been viewed incorrectly and with an extremely myopic view. The only ‘privilege’ is that one has the opportunity to raise a boy in a way that he respects a girl. That’s your DUTY as a parent to society. So, don’t think of it as a PRIVILEGE.”
