Miley Cyrus posed nude on the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine for January 2021 issue. Miley grabs lots of eyeballs on social media.The “Wrecking Ball” singer can be seen using her hands, accessories and text to cover her modesty to get past the censors on social media.
Miley captioned one photo as, “I’m completely naked but I’m making it fashion.”
“At least a give the papers something they can write about,” she wrote for the cover.
During an interaction with Rolling Stone, Miley was asked about getting affected by people’s scrutiny on her body. To which she stated, “I can’t remember if it hurt my feelings or not. I don’t remember it really penetrating. I think I knew who I was meant to be, but I’m sure there’s something in there. Some trauma of feeling so criticized, I think, for what I felt was a pretty average teenage, early [the 20s] exploration.”
Cyrus shared another photo wearing just black sheer stockings and grey knee-high boots. She wrote, “I’M COMPLETELY NAKED BUT I’M MAKING IT FASHION. @rollingstone by @bradelterman.”
Talking about posing nude on the cover, Miley said, “I don’t even know if you really can slut-shame now. Is that even a thing? The media hasn’t really slut-shamed me in a long time.”
In the interview, the Hannah Montana star also revealed that she takes her mental and physical health more seriously than before. The singer shared, “Someone said to me the other day, ‘I think of you as a free bird that can’t be held down’. I don’t really feel that way. I feel very weighted and grounded. I’m free, but I feel responsibility. I take my mental and physical health a lot more seriously than I ever did before.”
