The Lebanese-American former adult star Mia Khalifa who had earlier said that that she is determined not to bow from her stance in support of the farmers protest in India, has now given a shout-out to the farmers.
On Sunday, posting a picture of a meal on Twitter, Mia Khalifa wrote: “Shoutout to the farmers”.

Khalifa came out in support of farmers’ protest in India and after receiving backlash, tweeted on Friday to say that she is determined not to bow from her stance.
Mia Khalifa shared pictures of a protest against her and Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg, where protesters are seen holding placards stating: “Mia Khalifa regains consciousness”, seemingly referring to her previous career choices.
“Confirming I have in fact regained consciousness, and would like to thank you for your concern, albeit unnecessary. Still standing with the farmers, though,” she wrote while sharing the images.
Coming out in farmers’ support, Khalifa last week tweeted: “What in the human rights violations is going on?! They cut the internet around New Delhi?! #FarmersProtest.”
“Paid actors, huh? Quite the casting director, I hope they’re not overlooked during awards season. I stand with the farmers. #FarmersProtest,” she said in a separate tweet with a picture of protesting farmers.
Khalifa’s tweet came after international pop icon Rihanna and Greta Thunberg expressed concern for the protesting farmers.
