South actor Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master has been one of the highly-anticipated Kollywood films in recent times. While we are excited to see the promo of this entertainer, director of the film, Lokesh Kangaraj shared the new poster revealing the teaser release date, which is on November 14, 6 pm. Well, this news has definitely raised our excitement and anticipation for Master.
While the release of the film is still uncertain due to COVID-19 crisis, Makkal Selvan, who is playing the lead antagonist in the thriller gave a review of Master during the promotional event of Ka Pe Ranasingam and said, “Everyone has dirt within them. I am not sure if there is a way to get rid of the dirt for everyone, by when one acts as a villain, there is a way of bringing that dirt out. I play a ruthless gangster, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.” He later went on to call the film a ‘masterpiece’ and we sure that these praises from VJS is making us impatient.

Lokesh Kangaraj, who recently attended a special event of Vijay’s fan club in Coimbatore, said that the film will only release in theatres and not on any OTT platform. “Vijay’s Master will release only in theatres. There is no chance of the film releasing on any OTT platform. We are waiting for the theatres to re-open in the country,” said the director. Talking about the release date, Lokesh asserted, “I have been in touch with several people in the industry. I heard that they are in talks with the government regarding the re-opening of theatres. It has been seven months and if they don’t re-open the theatres in the future, then the livelihoods of thousands of people will be affected. Let’s wait and see.”
