The trailer of much-awaited film horror-comedy film ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani is out.
The over 3-minute trailer begins with Akshay comically saying “Jis din sach mein mere saamne bhoot aaya na, toh maa kasam choodiyan pehen lunga, choodiyan (The day I see a ghost, I swear on my mother, I will wear bangles in my hands).”
In what one can perceive of the film’s storyline from the trailer is that the lead actor is captured by the spirit of a transgender, who is on a mission. The film’s trailer is a perfect mix of entertaining one-liners and a catchy song ‘Burj Khalifa’.
In the upcoming flick, which is a ‘circus of family and ghosts’, while Akshay will be seen playing the role of a transgender, Kiara Advani will be seen in a pivotal role.

Earlier, before the trailer release, the actor took to his verified Instagram handle to tease fans with a new poster from the film.

On Thursday, while announcing that the trailer will be out on October 9, Akshay had shared a short animated clip of a firecracker bursting with the words ‘Phutega Kal! Laxmmi Bomb Trailer Out Tomorrow’ written in the video. The action hero captioned the post, “Hassoge, darroge aur apne ghar valo ke sath milkar kal sab se bada dhamaka dekhoge! Watch #LaxmmiBomb Trailer, coming out tomorrow! (sic).”
Earlier, the makers of the film announced that while the film will be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar during Diwali weekend that is, from November 9, 2020, it will also release on the OTT platform in the USA, UK and Canada. Moreover, they also revealed that ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ will be getting a theatrical release for the countries namely Australia, New Zealand and UAE where theatres are open for public.
In a statement, the makers stated, “This Diwali, Laxmmi Bomb to release day and date on 9th November in Australia, New Zealand and UAE. Directed by Raghava Lawrence the movie stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead. Laxmmi Bomb is premiering in India on Disney+ Hotstar VIP and on Hotstar in USA, UK and Canada on 9th November.”
Before that, actor Akshay Kumar while announcing the streaming date on social media, had shared a spooky video featuring himself. In the video, Akshay as Laxman transforms into a transgender named Laxmmi. The actor also revealed that the film will be a Diwali gift to fans.
