Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu’s latest film Lootcase has recently premiered on Disney+ Hotstar after much delay owning to the lockdown issues. The movie however was worth the wait as it won not only the audience’s hearts but has also been loved by Amitabh Bachchan who couldn’t resist writing one of his precious little notes to Kunal appreciating his ‘exceptional’ performance.
Kunal was certainly on cloud nine on receiving the note from the mega star and couldn’t resist sharing on Instagram in celebration. Kunal wrote, “Whaaaaaaatt!!!! This is just the most awesome awesome thing ever. I have often read or heard about this happening and always wished that one day I would also be deserving of one myself.. thank you soooo much @amitabhbachchan Sir”. The actor also added, “This means so much to me. I’m doing back flips in my head and my heart.”
About the film, Amitabh wrote in his note, “The writing, the direction, the performance of each artist was superb.” The star went on to praise Kunal adding, “But you were exceptional! Each expression, body movement and presence simply outstanding. Keep up, the good work, and may you ever keep prospering.”
Lootcase released on July 31 and also stars Rasika Dugal, Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Raaz, Gajraj Rao among others.
