As we have seen superhit film Bhool Bhulaiyaa starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan . Now, we are eagerly waiting for the second instalment featuring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu. In February last year, Kartik had started shooting for the film in Jaipur, which was followed by another schedule in Lucknow in March. However, the filming had to be stopped owing to the lockdown and its subsequent restrictions because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then several reports of the cast resuming the shoot has been doing the rounds.
It was initially reported that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 team will resume shooting in October 2020, then another date in December had been speculated. However, Pinkvilla now has exclusively learnt that Kartik and Kiara will start shooting for the horror-comedy from next week. “Kartik and Kiara are going to Manali to shoot for a song. They will be there for 3 to 4 days. This will be followed by another schedule in March in Mumbai. If all goes as planned, the team will be going to Lucknow as well at a later date,” informs a source close to the development.
Meanwhile, Kartik has wrapped up shooting for Ram Madhvani’s Dhamaka and will soon resume filming for Collin D’Cunha’s Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor. Kiara on the other hand has Shershaah with Sidharth Malhotra which will release on July 2 and Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan in her kitty.
Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Krishan Kumar.
