Jet Airways doubles services to Dammam


Jet Airways has announced that from the month of June, 2016, there will be two more flights that will connect India to the Saudi Arabian city of Dammam. Both the flight will a non-stop daily service flight which will go to and fro the two countries. The flight frequency from both Mumbai and Delhi will be doubled for the ease of the passengers.

Initially there were one flight per day from both Delhi and Mumbai going to the Dammam city. But from now there will be two flights in a day from both the Indian cities. In this new schedule the Jet Airways flight 9W506 will depart Mumbai at 00:45 hours and arrive at Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport at 02:05 hours. The return flight, 9W505, will then leave Dammam at 03:05 hours and arrive back in Mumbai at 09:20 hours.

In case of Delhi, flight 9W518 will depart the Indian capital at 22:30 hours and arrive in Dammam at 00:10hours. The return flight, 9W517, will leave port city of Dammam at 01:10 hours and arrive in Delhi at 07:30 hours.

The main reason behind this increase in the number of daily flights to Dammam is that there has been a notable increase in the number of travelers to and fro Delhi and Mumbai to Dammam and vice versa. There is too much rush in the ticket bookings of this particular route and so it is best that there is another daily flight is started linking the two countries.
