Yes! You read it correct, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has received “on-screen proposal” by an Israeli comedian Shuster-Eliassi. The incident happens couple of weeks ago, thought Israeli wasn’t shown seriousness on her on-screen marriage proposal which is literally a joke but things went exactly opposite in Arab social media.
Who is Shuster-Eliassi?
Noam Shuster-Eliassi – A 32 year old Jewish-Israeli Comedienne entered into the comedian career peacefully few years before. Noam who is very fluent in Arabic has spoke during her weekly satirical spot on the television channel i24 News.
During the conversation, she started to express her view about the force given by her aunt and grandmother to get her married. In fact, she also added that both her aunt and her grandmother even ready to accept her husband though he is not a Jewish.
In-between that conversation, Noam playfully referred the ongoing secrecy between Israel and Saudi Arabia behalf of the no diplomatic relations between those countries. She blasted a joke on mentioning her and the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman who literally well-known as the MBS all over the world.
The words which Noam exactly said were “But I don’t want to just marry anyone, I want to aim higher. And when I do – who is it that I see? They say Bashar Assad is tall – but he’s not right for me. MBS! MBS is tall! And I know that ties are warming up between Israel and Saudi. And so I want to address MBS directly: I tried starting a party named ‘Naama’ so we can work together for peace in the Middle East” though here joke wasn’t noticed by the Israeli’s media and their citizens, but the wordings of her became a instant hit among the Arab citizen especially who are pretty active in the social media.

On quoting the wordings said by the Israeli’s comedienne Noam, the Howiya Press, one of the popular Moroccan news sites has conveyed the news as “the comedian was courting bin Salman and wishing to tie the knot with him”.
Meanwhile, one among the active social media users has tweeted as “An Israeli activist asks for the hand of the Saudi crown prince! Will there be a relationship between Tel Aviv and Riyadh by marriage?”
On witnessing the trending issues in social media, the popular media person of Arab Faisal Al-Qassem expressed this issues and the entire segment started to telecast in the BBC Arabic. The act of news gets published in the BBC Arabic has made this as the worldwide popularity and Israeli media outlets too get noticed.
In fact, few of the social media users from Israeli started to praise the bold move of the 32 year old comedienne Noam Shuster-Eliassi.
In fact after witnessing the explosive reaction and popularity of her joke on Arab Prince she prefers to address about her earlier comment which is said as the on-screen proposal. She commented as “I did not expect by any means for it to explode in this way. I have never experienced something on this scale. The joke was that Saudi and Israel are already having secret meetings, so I asked for him to help me with being single and building my party”.
