Television actress Additi Gupta Chopra, best known for her work in Ishqbaaaz among other shows, has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress confirmed the news and shared that she is under home quarantine at the moment.
Speaking about the same, the actress said that she has decided to isolate herself the moment she lost her sense of smell. She went on to share that she chose to go under quarantine at home since she was asymptomatic.
“The reports came out positive and I chose to quarantine myself at home since I was asymptomatic. It’s been 7 to 8 days that I have confined myself in a room,” Additi told Telly Chakkar during an interview.
She also shared that her husband, family, and friends are supporting her to the T and are constantly checking on her. Further, she shared a health update and said that she has now partially regained her sense of smell. The actress added that while she is taking care of her diet and taking proper medication, she will continue to be in quarantine for the next 10 days.
Urging fans to not panic, the actress assured them that it can be dealt with proper medication and positivity. However, she also explained that she was a bit stressed initially. The actress hopes for normalcy to return soon.
