Apple at its Tuesday event unveiled the all-new iPhone 12 series including the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. All the new iPhone 12 models support 5G, powered by A14 Bionic chipset, and sport a Super Retina XDR display with Ceramic Shield cover.
Kicking off the keynote, Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the entire iPhone 12 lineup is getting the 5G support. “We are going to introduce 5G across our entire lineup of iPhone models,” Cook said. As rumoured for weeks now, Apple took the wraps off its smallest iPhone in the iPhone 12 series – iPhone 12 mini featuring a 5.4-inch display.
“Today is the beginning of a new era for iPhone,” he added.

Starting with the iPhone 12, which is the successor to the popular iPhone 11, it starts at Rs 79,900 for the 64GB model while the 128GB model comes at Rs 84,900. The top-of-the-line 256GB model costs Rs 94,900. The iPhone 12 will be available in Black, Blue, Green, White, and PRODUCT Red colours. The iPhone 12 goes on pre-order starting October 16 in India and will be available on October 30.
Coming to the iPhone 12 mini, the 64GB model is priced at Rs 69,900, 128GB model at Rs 74,900 while the 256GB model at Rs 84,900. It comes in White, Black, Blue, Green, and PRODUCT Red colours. The iPhone 12 mini will be available for pre-orders from November 6 and will go on sale from November 13.
The iPhone 12 Pro will be available in India starting at Rs 1,19,900 for the 128GB model while the 256GB model will cost Rs 1,29,900. The 512GB model comes at Rs 1,49,900. It comes in Graphite, Silver, Gold, and Pacific Blue colours. The iPhone 12 Pro will be available in India starting October 30. Interested customers can start pre-booking the iPhone 12 Pro from Apple.com and authorised sellers from October 16.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB model at Rs 1,29,900 while the 256GB will cost Rs 139,900. The 512GB model will come at Rs 1,59,900. It will be available in the same colours as the Pro model. There’s no clarity on the availability of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but Apple has added that it will be on pre-orders from November 6 and will be available from November 13. But there’s no word on the markets where it will go on sale at that time.
Apple has also listed the timeline for availability of other Apple accessories like MagSafe Charger, Leather Wallet with MagSafe, and iPhone 12 Pro Silicone Case and Clear Case that will be available beginning October 16. The iPhone 12 Pro Leather Case will be available starting November 6. The MagSafe Duo Charger and Leather Sleeve will be available at a later date.
