During virtual court hearing in Florida has produced a segment that is making netizens around the world both laugh and cringe at the same time.
A man who was facing an attempted burglary charge was seen flirting with the judge while she read out his sentence.
Demetrius Lewis appeared before Broward County Judge Tabitha Blackmon via a Zoom call on Thursday. He had been accused of trying to break into a Fort Lauderdale home as three children slept inside, according to a MailOnline report.
But just as Judge Tabitha was reading out the sentence, Lewis began hitting on her by saying, “Judge, you are so gorgeous. I just have to tell you, you’re gorgeous. I love you, I love you.”
The short segment has now gone viral on social media with more than a million views.

Unfortunately, Judge Tabitha was not so impressed by Lewis’ flattery. Although she did show a smile of amusement for a second or two. “Flattery will get you everywhere, but maybe not here,” she responds to Lewis while checking his case files.
Judge Tabitha informs lewis that she had found a cause for burglary charges and for the possession of ecstasy. Later, she ordered Lewis to be held on a $5,000 bond.
According to a New York Post report, Lewis has already spent four years in prison and was last released in 2019 after serving time for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
