Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram had a wider release, thanks to producer Sashikanth’s decision to sell the streaming rights to Netflix. The film’s reach knows no bounds as posters and visuals of Jagame Thandhiram are being screened at New York’s Times Square. The gangster thriller, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, released on the OTT platform on June 18 and has been receiving mixed response.
In Jagame Thandhiram, Dhanush essayed the role of Suruli, a notorious gangster from Madurai. He goes all the way to London as a contract gangster to Peter (James Cosmo). He is caught in a fix when he comes across Sivadoss (Joju George).
The film has achieved a new milestone today as posters and visuals of this gangster thriller are being screened on the billboards at New York’s Times Square. Photos of the Jagame Thandhiram posters gracing the streets of New York are going viral on social media.
