Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train: A bullet train project has been agreed to run between Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi from Sarai Kale Khan in the country’s capital Delhi. This train will reach Jewar International Airport in 21 minutes from Sarai Kale Khan and Agra in 55 minutes. Apart from this, the journey of 816 km between Delhi and Varanasi will be completed in about four hours.
The bullet train project, which is considered to be the dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has gone one more step forward. The elevated track for the bullet train (Delhi-Varanasi Bullet Train) running between Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to PM’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi will be laid along the Yamuna Expressway. While it will have two stations in Noida, UP. It is clear that the in-principle agreement for the bullet train project has been made in the meeting held between Niyal and the railway officials on Wednesday.
Let us inform that along with the plan of Jewar International Airport, the government had started churning to bring air passengers from Indira Gandhi International Airport to Jewar in Gautam Buddha Nagar of UP. Now the draft report has been submitted to Noida International Airport Limited for running bullet train between Delhi and Noida airport. It is clear that now no passengers will have any problem.
Noida will get 2 stoppages,
however, the work of Delhi-Varanasi High Speed Rail Corridor is with National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL). While this bullet train will start at Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan. At the same time, its first stoppage will be Sector 148 of Noida, then the second station will be Jewar International Airport. At the same time, it will travel till Varanasi via Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Prayagraj. Apart from this, the work of this project of one lakh 21 thousand crore rupees will be completed in four phases. The work under the first phase between Delhi and Noida airport is expected to start from the end of August this year. For this, Yamuna Authority has decided to give land free of cost.
Bullet train station will be in these cities
Apart from Noida and Jewar in UP, bullet train stations will be in Mathura, Agra, Etawah, Kanpur, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Prayagraj, Santarvidas Nagar, Mirzapur and Varanasi. The final stop of the train will be at Manduadih, the PM’s parliamentary constituency, Varanasi. While the first phase of bullet train work will be from Delhi to Agra, the second phase will be from Agra to Lucknow, the third phase will be from Lucknow to Prayagraj and the last phase will be from Prayagraj to Varanasi.
Will reach Varanasi from Delhi in just 3 hours 41 minutes
This bullet train will cover a distance of 62 km from Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Jewar Airport in 21 minutes. From Jewar Airport, Raya will reach Cuttl (Mathura) in 20 minutes. While Delhi to Agra will take 55 minutes, then Lucknow will take 2 hours 50 minutes. At the same time, it will take 3 hours 41 minutes to travel 816 km from Delhi to Varanasi. Apart from this, 800 passengers can travel simultaneously in this bullet train. While its capacity can be increased to 1250 passengers.
