While the national capital is running short of ambulances, authorities have turned some of the city’s three-wheeled auto rickshaws into makeshift ambulances to ferry COVID patients to hospitals.
Free auto ambulance service in Delhi for coronavirus patients launched by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh, this initiative in association with TYCIA Foundation.
These autos are well-equipped with oxygen cylinders, sanitisers and drivers of these auto ambulances wear PPE kit. Addressing this auto service, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said this is a free service and we will add more such autos which will be pressed into service from May 6.
