Bollywood industry is still in shock after Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide, but there is no evidence talking about the burning question ‘why’. Among many speculations, one is that Karan Johar along with many renowned industry names, isolated the late actor, banning him from work. Recently, an interview of Ayushmann Khurrana going viral in which Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions telling him they casted ‘only stars’ .
In the small part of the interview, Ayushmann revealed that he was going to make his debut with Dharma Productions. He recalled meeting Karan Johar, who gave him a telephone number (his office number). According to the viral interview, when Ayushmann reached out to them, Dharma stalled him and eventually ended up telling him that they ‘only work with stars and thus cannot work with him.’

Ayushmann Khurrana made his Bollywood debut by Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Vicky Donor’, went on to win many acclaims for the movie. His singing career also took off simultaneously after he crooned ‘Paani Da Rang’ in the movie. Beginning his career with ‘Roadies’, Ayushmann has come a long way and become a National-Award winner for ‘AndhaDhun’. Co-incidentally the actor’s latest Amazon Prime release ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ has also been helmed by Shoojit. Ayushmann has also appeared on Karan Johar’s previous season of ‘Koffee With Karan’.
Sushant Singh Rajput, on the other hand, had his last release as ‘Drive’ which co-starred Jacqueline Fernandez and was produced by Karan Johar.
