In the last episode of Bigg Boss 14 Rahul Vaidya decided to voluntarily take an exit from Bigg Boss 14 and not playing the game further. When Salman Khan asked Rahul if given a choice will he leave the show, the singer said ‘yes’ and explained his stand with a lump in his throat. Although disappointed, Salman let Rahul stand by his decision and asked him to leave Bigg Boss 14 house.
Former contestants of the house and netizens expressed their shock and disappointment on knowing about Rahul’s decision of not staying in the house anymore. Kamya Punjabi took to her Twitter page and wrote, “Never happened in the history of #BiggBoss contestants are walking out of the show that too stronger ones, I can imagine what mental trauma they would have gone through to take such a drastic step! Gauahar Khan who was one of the ‘Toofani Seniors’ on the show quote tweeted Kamya’s post and wrote, “What??? Why did he walk out???”
While Aly Goni, who was rooting for Rahul inside the house as a fellow participant tweeted, “Rahul yaaar nahi yaaar bhai nahi.”

While talking about his decision of voluntarily exiting the house, Rahul said on Bigg Boss 14, “Main zindagi me kabhi bhi, bachpan se ek bhi din nahi guzra jab family se door raha hoon, mentally strong hoon (I haven’t spent a day without my family in my entire life and I am mentally strong) but not without family. I do not agree that I did not perform because of a lack of interest. I mean this straight from the heart, I want to leave because I do not want some deserving candidate to leave. I am sorry if I am upsetting my fans but this I do not think I can stay here without my family and folks. Another thing is that I do not have any strong bond with anyone, someone with whom I can share my feelings. I find it worthless staying in a situation like this.”
