Perrie Edwards has given fans a behind-the-scenes peek at her stunning pregnancy photoshoot, which took place shortly before her son Axel was born.
The Little Mix star and her Liverpool FC player boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain welcomed their first child on August 21, three weeks early.
Perrie took part in her maternity shoot just days before, revealing a series of stunning shots and videos from the shoot on her Instagram Stories on Sunday.
Perrie explained that she was only just getting around to thanking her team on the ‘shoot of dreams’, writing: ‘Taking this long car drive as an opportunity to thank everyone involved in this shoot. The shoot of dreams!’
‘Axel entered the world so soon after this I never got the chance to share the behind the scenes of this magical day.’
The stunning star then shared a series of photos of the shoot, which took place in the beautiful countryside near the Surrey home she shares with Alex and Axel.
One shot saw the singer posing naked while wrapped in a flowing satin robe, as she shared that a member of her team was tasked with throwing the fabric up in the air to get the desired shot.
Another set-up saw Perrie lying in a pool, dressed in a gorgeous deep red dress. To get the shot several members of the crew made sure Perrie was kept in place by holding on to a piece of fabric placed under her, while the photographer shot from above.
Several shots took place in a studio, with one showing Perrie dressed in just a denim jacket and underwear as she cradled her bump.
Perrie revealed in November that her baby son was born three weeks early, as she shared throwback photos of her family setting up the nursery.
