Industrialist Anand Mahindra’s Twitter account is filled with interesting posts and pictures that social media users simply enjoy. In one such post on Thursday, Anand Mahindra shared a picture that was clicked in New York and the image not only made the internet happy but also proud to a certain extent.
The picture features a woman walking down the Central Park in New York. Her face wasn’t a part of the frame but she was dressed in formals, presumably on her way to work. What’s interesting is that she carried a steel tiffin-box or a dabba in her hand.
Steel dabbas are widely used across India by children as well as people to carry food. Social media users, thus, were excited to see the woman from New York carrying a steel dabba.
“New York, Central Park. Dabba walli,” Anand Mahindra said in the caption of his post.

Love for steel dabbas is forever. No actually as I am growing older. I bought this in Netherlands few weeks back, told my mom & she laughed saying, there are many at home pic.twitter.com/qB0pm7GwNL

ya, only we Indians make fun of our own way of living. Westerners adopt it, then we circle back and copy it from them and pay a premium price tag!

That's the difference…. You appreciated it while others would have made her feel embarrassed.
