In their new advertisement, Amul the corporate has used the same term to troll the Congress Chief.
After the advertisement, a new controversy has been sparkled in the social media. Amul has been criticized by the congress supporters and leaders for such as advertisement, whereas some others are seen supporting the advertisement.
Is has been seen that Amul always uses fresh issues in their advertisements. Earlier also, they have trolled other political leaders in their Advertisements.
Rahul Gandhi was trolled earlier also by Amul when he hugged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Parliament last year. Rahul Gandhi walked up to the PM after a fiery speech and hugged him and after returning to his seat he was caught by the cameras where he smiled and winked, probably at his colleague.
In the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi said, “I’m grateful to BJP and RSS [Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the ideological parent of the BJP] that they’ve explained the meaning of Congress, and of being Hindu.” He also added, “You have anger for me. For you, I’m Pappu. But I have no anger for you. I am Congress.”
Thousands of internet memes floated in the social media and Amul was also seen trolling Rahul Gandhi where they remarked in the advertisement, “Embracing ya embarrassing”. The advertisement also said, “Amul Hugs Bread daily!”
In 2012 Amul published as advertisement where Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav campaigned, “Samajworthy Party”. The advertisement also says, “A Lick for Akhil!” and “Amul Son-Rise Snacks”.
Along with the advertisements featuring political leaders, there are some topics which Amul has used in their advertisements. After the first Surgical strike by India, Amul published as advertisement saluting the forces stating, “Surgical strikes – Amul Paks a punch”.
However, Amul also faced some controversies after some advertisements and also got some legal problems. Some of those were advertisements featuring Jagmohan Dalmiya, Suresh Kalmadi Subrata Roy and Satyam computers. The advertisement read on the top, “Dalmiya mein kuch kala hai” and at the bottom, “Amul: Maska Khao, paisa nahin”. After this Jagmohan Dalmiya threatened to sue the company for Rs. 500 crore and sent a court notice.
Rahul daCunha, the man behind the Golden girl who has ruled the hearts of India once remarked, “We have never taken sides; we comment on the issue, never the people. Amul is a reflection of what the larger population is thinking and feeling about an event.” He further added, “If they help to make a better society, that’s a bonus.”
