SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn among others is one of the films many are eagerly looking forward to. The upcoming film has been creating buzz because of many reasons. As many are aware, it was earlier reported that Jayantilal Gada has bagged the satellite and digital rights of RRR. He got the satellite, digital rights and electronics for all languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hini, and Kannada. He also bagged the Hindi theatrical rights of RRR, which was valued at Rs 140 Crore.
As per latest report in Pinkvilla, the all-language post release digital and satellite rights of RRR have been sold for a hefty price to Zee Group. ‘The makers have sold the post release satellite and digital rights (All Languages) of RRR to Zee Group for Rs 325 Crore. The rights have been transferred by Jayatilal Gada to Zee Group,’ revealed the source. With this, the producers have officially sold each and every right and earned a profit in the range of RS 450 Crore.
Their pre-release revenue is expected to be in the Rs 800 Crore range, which is the biggest ever for a producer in the history of Indian cinema. The source further revealed that RRR’s release date is expected to be pushed further due to the on-going Covid crisis. The movie will be reportedly released in January, next year.
