A bakery in Surat, Gujarat celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 70th birthday in the most innovative way possible. The bakery, Breadliner, paid a grand tribute to PM Modi by making a record-breaking cake.
The cake’s theme was Corona Warriors and it lauded the work of all the brave frontline workers. They baked a 71-feet-long cake that weighed almost 771kg. Yes, you read that right.
According to ANI, the cake is to distributed among children. The bakery will also host an online cake cutting ceremony. The bakery said that the event is a move to show love and gratitude for the priceless efforts by the Corona Warriors for the society.

Reportedly, after being distributed among children, the remaining cake will be divided into portions of 500 gm each. Then, it will be sold at various outlets of the bakery, from Vapi to Vadodara, in Gujarat. The bakery has been celebrating PM Modi’s birthday for the past three years now, and each year had a social awareness theme.

Nitin Patel, the organiser of the event, told ANI, “The cake cutting ceremony on PM’s birthday was held while maintaining social distancing and all necessary precautions. At the event, seven corona warriors were also present. The cake has images of corona warriors, be it media, police, plasma donors and doctors. To ensure social distancing, we will be organising a digital event as well.”
