Some of the steps that the government has initiated towards this is the strengthening of understanding and ties with the regional authorities in Peru. Emphasis on improving tourism related infrastructure in all areas is  being emphasized by the government.  The minister during the presentation spoke about an expected increase of the tourists coming into Peru by 6 to 7 percent in this year of 2016. The minister has also attributed to this expected rise in tourist inflow to Peru to the international coverage that Peru has been receiving for its tourist interest.  To mention one of the additional interests that Peru tourism has established is the Kuelap cable car ride. Across the Amazonas region this interesting feature would be starting on 19th June as per the minister’s announcement. These are some of the fructification of the plans that the government has been putting in place for some time now. The interaction between different agencies of the regions in Peru and ensuring their links remain at all times, is another process that the government has initialed which has borne such good results.
