Huawei unveils Honor Note 8 with a massive 6.6-inch display

Honor has unveiled its latest phone called the Honor Note 8 in a complete grand manner for the Chinese market. Designed by Xiaomi’s Mi Max, the phone comes with many latest and trendy features.

Details of Honor Note 8

The phone comes with an attractive 6.6 inch screen QHD display which makes it the best choice for people who use smartphone as their main computing device. It is powered by Kirin 955 processor, which is a product of HiSilicon. Honor Note 8 comes with 4 GB RAM and has option of 32 GB, 64 GB AND 128 GB expandable storage option devices. The phone has amazing camera features a well. It has 13MP primary camera and 8MP front or selfie camera. The phone will also have finger print sensor, LTE and a 4500 mAh battery. The phone comes with Android version 6.0 Marshmallow.

The phone looks like its previous version, just bigger than the others. The phone has a silver color variant that looks similar Nexus 6P. The phone has an overall curvy look.

The launch

Honor is a sub brand of Huawei, and the launch of Honor Note 8 has been made for the Chinese market only, for the time being. The global release of the phone is yet to be announced. This tablet-sized phone will be available for sale in China from 9th August. The cost of the phone will be approximately around Rs.23000.

Along with Honor 8, the company has also launched Honor 5 which comes with some lesser features. This phone comes with a smaller screen of 5-inch. Honor 5 has 2 GB RAM and has 16GB in-built storage which is expandable up to 128 GB. The phone has 8MP primary cameras and 2MP front camera. It is a dual SIM supporting phone. Honor 5 will be available in the stores of China from the 2nd of August.

Now one has to wait and see how the two phones are accepted by the customers and the market. Both the phones seems to price at appropriate rates, due to which it may attract many customers, especially the Honor fans.
