A new daily flight will be launched that travels from Hangzhou to Kolkata, by the Shanghai based China Eastern airlines, later this month. The travel route plan also has a stop at the southwest Chinese city, Kunming, while travelling from both the directions.

This new flight travel plan will mark a new extension to the flight plan of Kunming – Kolkata, which was first launched in the year 2007 by the Chinese Eastern Airlines. The flight that carries the passengers in this new flight plan will be a single aisle Airbus A320 aircraft, which will be deployed by the Chinese Eastern airlines. The carrier says that this new flight plan is operated on daily basis.
This new flight service will be commenced on 28th June, with flight MU5085, departing from the Chinese city Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International airport at 1905 and will be arriving at the Kolkata city’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at 0210 the next day. The return service of the flight plan will begin when the flight leaves Kolkata at 0300 and arrives back to the Hangzhou at 0955, the same day.
The flight will have a stopover at Kunming’s Changshui International Airport from 2225 to 2325, while travelling from Hangzhou to Kolkata.
With this flight plan, China Eastern airline is the only operator running an air service in this route, from Hangzhou to Kolkata. One more flight plan to India of China Eastern airlines is the flight service to Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.
