The Lakme Fashion Week session in Mumbai came as a shocking but eye-opening campaign.
IMG Reliance has collaborated with the United Nations in India and has hosted this action-oriented dialogue on the North Eastern region of India which would be followed by a show containing more than 6 sustainable fashion designers from the different parts of NER on Sustainable fashion day. It was an attempt to display the exciting potential of the region to the main stakeholders, including the popular brands and the well-known designers.
At the show, there would be 6 feature designers who will tap on to the reminiscent tradition of textures so to boost the movement towards creating a network of supply chain outlines that can provide bearable livelihoods for artists and link the gap between the Artists and high industry shareholders.
Many leading champions who have constructed transformation work in the sustainability of Designing would be a part of this discussion that would be led by Yuri Afanasiev resident coordinator the United Nations in India.
Top six designers from the eight Northeast States would challenge their work and compete with the artisans. This collaboration has also invited British designer Bethany Williams and Indian designer Aratrik Dev Verman will collaborate together and explore new fashion systems and techniques with female textile artisans in the North Eastern region.
